As a life long learner of music, one of my greatest music moments is when I had the opportunity to play percussion at Carnage Hall in New York City. The best thing about being a DJ/MC is being able to provide a relaxed and fun atmosphere for everyone! Currently my go to dance floor song is “Uptown Funk” – Super fun song that all generations can dance to! My top bucket list item is to spend a month in Italy with my wife 🙂 This may sound a little sappy, but my favorite moment at weddings are the Father/Daughter dances. You can see how special that moment is for both people. Since I have a little girl, it makes me think about her wedding day and how amazing that experience will be for me.
Paul’s introduction to music all started when his mom sold a cow from their farm in North Carolina and bought him a piano. He has now played for over 20 years, teaching others to play in his spare time, as well as performing all around the metro area for various choirs and school groups. He also brings a unique element to every wedding he DJs as he can provide live piano service through the ceremony, cocktails, and dinner service. Paul loves the experience of looking over the crowd and selecting the next song that will elevate the dance floor as well as seeing people relate through happy smiles, and cheery eyes. DJing for over 5 years now, he is guaranteed to be a positive approachable personality for any event.
People would say I live up to my name as I have a huge passion for music. As a musician, DJ, producer, and performer, I feel like I have a great knowledge of all aspects of music. I graduated with a degree in Music and Business Development and have done everything from performing with symphonies and jazz ensembles, to composing and arranging with hip hop and electronic artists. I have performed for weddings and special events since 2009, and making the best day of peoples’ lives is a true commitment I have to every client and event!
Something unique about me is that I’m a 3rd degree black belt in Kenpo Karate and a Muay Thai practitioner. I currently hold a 6-1 record in kickboxing! My favorite thing about being DJ/MC is that I get to interact with all sorts of different people and every event is always a little bit different, so that makes it fun and continually interesting. Also, seeing that guests are having a great time gives me a sense of accomplishment. I would say my top bucket list item is traveling to Thailand and getting to live and train with the best fighters in the world… or traveling to Pamplona, Spain, to participate in the “Running of the Bulls”.
I have been a professional DJ for over fifteen years (since my teen years!). With a Music Education degree and live band experience, there’s not much I haven’t done. I have DJ’d weddings and played events all over the country. I have an old school approach to DJ’ing. All mixing, scratching, and beat juggling is performed live on two turntables and a mixer. That being said, I feel like I am on the cutting edge of what being a DJ means today. This includes the ability to perform a full video experience as well. Wrap it all up with a natural sense of how to read a crowd, and that’s what you can expect from a night with me on the decks!
I am the in house DJ for the Colorado Rockies! Anytime you hear any song during a game, that’s me, doing what I do best. My favorite thing about DJing any event is being able to play music that puts people in a great mood!
While I’ll accommodate whatever our clients want for dance floor music, musical preference is different for everyone. I like to try and hit different genres throughout the night so everybody can get up and dance at some point. I also love taking requests from guests because it makes everybody feel like they are a part of the night! The best moment I’ve ever been a part of at a wedding was when, at the end of the night, the bride jumped off a diving board into a pool with her wedding dress still on! It. Was. Awesome!
Chaz is all about keeping the party going. He is an international recording artist that performs on stages all over the world, but also finds time to be an Elite DJ. With years of experience on the mic, Chaz prides himself on making your big day one to remember.
Joel enjoys weddings because there are no other events like them – where someone can attend and be able to laugh, cry, dance… even have a bouquet of flowers thrown at them! He believes that everyone has maybe 5 or 6 event-filled days in their lives that they can remember from start to finish, and their wedding day should absolutely be one of those. Joel is eager to ensure that your wedding day is remembered as the most passionate, loving and exciting day out of all of them.
Something most people don’t know about me is that I’m a lead singer for a variety cover band in Colorado Springs called One Hit Prophets.
One of my favorite things about being an MC is knowing that I am helping create memories for a couple and their families and friends that will be remembered and cherished for years to come!
It just seems to always work, but Yeah! by Usher is still one of those tracks people go crazy for.
What is my #1 Bucket List Item? I’ve already been skydiving but I’d love to try hang gliding, parasailing, and visiting all of our National Monuments.
One of my favorite moments from an event was a wedding reception when the groom and all the groomsmen dressed up like the actors from Michael Jackson’s Thriller video and danced the entire routine… that was AWESOME!
After 20 years of playing piano,16 years of bass guitar, performing in several local and touring bands covering a variety of musical genres, and a decade of professional DJing experience, Jack is the complete package! He has a passion for musical performance, attention to technical detail, and a bachelor’s degree in contemporary music. Event management and live sound are his “day jobs,” which means Jack is always able to create an atmosphere that is focused on the what’s most important; the celebration!
Seth has been DJing and playing with music, in some shape or form, for over 11 years. He is a full time elementary teacher in Golden, and spends his free time making music as often as he can. When not DJing weddings and events around the metro area, you’ll find him at his Lakewood yoga studio, where he mixes live for classes every Wednesday.
Ryan has spent a lifetime around music and the stage. He studied Musical Theater, Vocal Performance, Music Theory, and Percussion in college, and taught music in high schools for 9 years. He has also played and sang in numerous bands throughout Colorado, including the dreaded “Wedding Singer” role! But since turning his attention to DJing back in 2008, he has found a home in this method of entertainment and performance. As of 2016 he has worked over 300 weddings, and continues to impress clients with his professionalism, energy, and attention to detail.
Matt spends much of his time enjoying all that Colorado has to offer; snowboarding in the winter, skateboarding in the summer, attending concerts with friends, and is well versed in knowing how to have a great time! He wears many hats as a DJ & MC, Remote Pilot, & Web Designer, and always has something unique to bring to the table. Matt fully embraces every wedding, keeping the party alive with great tunes and a positive presence!
